Act 252

Give where you live

Part of debt – a big part – is the taboo of it all. Which can leave you feeling isolated, alone, ashamed. We seem to judge each other by our ability to make ends meet and when ends aren’t meeting well or well enough, we retract. But even if your ends aren’t meeting as they  should, you can still help others and reconnect. I find volunteer work helps me do this as does contributing items to the thrift store. Money I rarely give but time and things, ideas and encouragement I’ve got. So go ahead. Give where you live in whatever way you can. It feels good and it’s good for you. And the smallest kindness is long remembered.
