Act 64

Share the Care

Well, March break will soon be upon us. Here in our school district, the break is for two weeks. Then, comes Easter Holidays so the kids are off school for 18 days. 18 DAYS! What am I going to do. During those 18 days, I still have to work, I still have to do all the regular mom stuff and I’ll need to find 18 days worth of things to do for two kids. March break can be fun – in Mexico or at the ski hill – but when you’re home, it can be a challenge. I want them to have a ton of fun. But I’ll still have a ton of stuff to do while I’m at it.

So here’s what I’ll try. To save on child care cost or expensive activities, I’ll offer to take my kids and my friends’ kids for a couple of days and I’ll plan fun activities for the whole big bunch. Then, hopefully, my friends will take my kids for a couple of days and plan fun activities for the whole big bunch. When you share child care, you save money, get to do some of what needs doing and provide a fun and festive way to enjoy 18 DAYS of March break.

Let the countdown begin.
